At DO & CO, we are looking for a Chef to join our catering team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop dishes within the assigned area in collaboration with the Head Chef, proposing a variety of alternatives based on professional experience and in accordance with established specifications.

• Manage and coordinate Sous Chefs, Chef de Partie staff and cooks, ensuring effective teamwork and the achievement of kitchen objectives.

• Foster a strong team spirit by motivating, organising and supporting the kitchen staff.

• Ensure that all dishes prepared for plating meet the expected quality, presentation and consistency standards.

• Promote safe working practices and implement procedures designed to prevent workplace accidents.

• Coordinate orders for each kitchen section and ensure the efficient use of raw materials, minimising food waste.

• Supervise the accurate completion of HACCP records by the team, ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.

• Ensure that all kitchen areas remain clean, organised and free from expired products, and that all relevant hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met.

Requisitos

• More than 5 years of experience performing the responsibilities outlined above.

• Experience in providing culinary training and mentoring to kitchen teams.

• A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

• Excellent communication skills.
